Ok guys, I bought this 1996 SS.. and the plaque from the console must have been stolen from it (it's wrecked and it sat in a guys shop for 2 and 1/2 years before we bought it and are currently working on fixing it.. the SS wheels were also ripped off). I know it is a REAL SS because of the stickers from SLP in the doors that say "this car was modified by SLP, etc. etc." How can I tell what number it is, and is there anyway I can get another plaque.. I can't find much on the SLP website.1996

 

Im sure you could email your vin # to slp and they could tell you what number your car is, or maybe you could go to your local chevy dealer and see if they could tell you, or know a way for you to get the number.

 

best bet would be to call SLP and ask them. Any chance they have the original window sticker?
