I already have the motor rebuilt(305 5.0 H.O.), but I don't know where to go from there. Should I Begin on the exterior or the interior?

This is my first "restoration" so your knowledge is important.

 

My "restoration" are you just trying to restore it back to original? If so, I'd do mechanical and interior type stuff first. When all that is done then do the paint. If you do paint first, you run the risk of scratching, chipping, just messing it up while you are working on all the other stuff

 

yes... back to original as possible. so it wouldn't hurt to have the 2 minor dents pulled an the rust on the t-tops fixed then primered? The very last thing I want to do is paint, not to mess it up.
