Want to paint Valve Covers...need advice
So I bought these polished aluminum valve covers about 6 months ago, and already they are pitting and tarnishing a little...and I cant simply buff it off with metal polish. Not cool. To remedy this...I was thinking about painting them gloss black to match the outside of the car. Does anyone know what kind of paint would produce the best results? Im hoping for a powder coated kind of look...but with paint (cheaper and easier). Thanks!
I'm still debating about doing mine in one of these Dupli Color Metal Cast colors -spray paint with an anodized look.

I wish they had black though. :/

if your interested in anodizing them with the duplicolour stuff, this is what it looks like in red.

I just wish they made a color that would more compliment my Purple Pearl Metallic and chrome color scheme. Their purple is *really* purple, which may bring out more of the purple in my Purple Pearl Metallic paint. :/
Anyway, do you have any pics with them installed?
