Want to go from Camaro 3-color Tail Lights to older style

I've found an article walking through the switch from the Red 93-96 Camaro Tail Lights to the newer 3 color lights. Can anyone direct me to a walkthrough of the opposite?

Is this reverse swap eaiser? Do I need to mess with any of the wiring, or do I just plug the bulbs into their respective slots?

My last question, does anybody besides GM dealers sell these? The For-Sale boards and E-bay turned up nothing Guess I should try junkyards?

on the yellow turn signals on my SS's tail lights..

If you dont already have the older style tail lights you want, I'll trade you mine if you want. I have been wanting to get the 3 color for a while now. Lemme know what you think.

From what i've dealt with, there is no problam going from 97+ to 93+, but you have to do a little moding to go from 93+ to 97+. I took my lights that where on my 94 camaro, and put them on my 99 camaro. Had to make the lip of the opening that you twist the light onto a little bit bigger. Did this with a sauldering iron (not sure of spelling). Worked great. If I remember correctly, all I did was put the lights for the 99 straight over to the 94.

Hope this helps!!!

Hey man,
I just bought some 3 color t/l's to go into a '94...when I take them do the swap I am goning to pull the older harness and all out. If you aren't interested in trading with Seth, then I could sell you mine, I was going to list them on e-Bay after I did it anyhow. I see them on e-Bay though all the time...try searching for "Camaro Tail"...that usually turns up the most results. Let me know...e-mail or AIM...

Cool, thanks for the info and offers guys. I'll contact one of you when I'm ready to decide.

The chevy dealer quoted me around $178 dollars for the red tail lights!...then again they would be brand new....
