Wanna do my ttops for me me??:D

I was wondering if someone who has done it before and is anywhere near me would be willing to help me with a Ttop conversion? I would of course pay for all of the parts and tools necessary for the job, any travel costs associated with coming to help, and also a small fee that we can determine if anyone is interested. Also can offer food, beverages, and lodging for as long as it takes to get it done Anyone!!??

I live in Arlington, VA. I'd be willing to help you in exchange for you helping with mine, lol. I'm serious. I don't have experience doing it, but I've been told its child's play.

I'm all for it...But...Yours first
Seriously though, I'd definitely be up for going at it together. I just moved from Alexandria, so I'm familiar with the area. Bowie is about 25 minuts from Alexandria, probably a bit less from you. Do you have any of the cutting tools we'd need? A dremel and whatever else?

it not as hard as you might think, but dont call it childs play, if you mess up your going to ruin your car
theres lots of room for error, but if you go slow and measure everything youl be fine make sure you do alot of research too

Well, this is the good thing (I think). I live on a Marine Corps base that is piggybacked with an Army base (Ft. Myer). They have a huge auto hobby shop with everything we would need. Its about $3.00 an hour for a bay and tools are free to use. I think the overnight fee is about $8.00 or so. They are open Wednesday-Friday from noon to 8pm and Sat and Sunday from 9AM to 4:30PM. Its located just over the memorial bridge from D.C. As far as doing mine first.....Thats fine. I don't have the conversion kit and I'm not sure what we really need. But kidkash8009, seems to have a kit available. I am trying to sell my 93 V6 and have two people inquiring about that, so thats where my money's coming from for the project. About when are you looking to do this?

And would anyone here be able to make a list (from their experience) of the stuff we need to do this? Thanks guys....And keep in touch Antic.

Sounds good. I used to live 5 minutes from Ft. Belvoir and have used their shop a few times, so I know what you're talking about. I wasn't planning on doing this until like winterish, but if we do yours and it goes well, and if I'll have all of the tools avaliable and someone there to help(you), I could do this as earlier as three weeks from today. Just starting a new job and have to wait for the first paycheck. But after that, I can do it immediately after I get my money. Let me know how soon you'll be able to sell the car or scrape the cash together to do this! If we're gonna go for it, I wanna get it done quickly so I can enjoy some of the summer!!!

I'm thinking of doing the T Top conversion. Could someone give me a website that provides instructions on doing it? Parts needed for this conversion. Estimate of cost, etc.
