Vinyl Interior help

How do you reattach the pieces of the door that you take off back onto the door? I put vinyl over the bottom carpet and top fabric on my Z doors, but I can't figure out how to put them back together now that all the melted plastic tabs have been broken off....

Help please

I think I understand what you are talking about - in my TA I covered the door inserts with red vinyl and have to cut those melt tabs off to do it. If this is what you are talking about, I just used hot glue to reinstall them. I cut the tops of the melt tabs off, but the shaft still held the door insert in place, then I hot glued over the tops. Worked great . Good luck

Re: Vinyl Interior help

Hmmm, something must be wrong here then. I took the tops to all the tabs off but I can't get anything to stay in place, I have superglued, duct taped, epoxied..etc, but nothing will stay on the door panel. So needless to say, I think my panel might be a goner, good thing I only did one! Anyways, this only gives me a excuse to spend money on some TA door panels. I think I will get those with black leather already on them
