Urgent, help with clear corners!

Guys, I don't know what GM was smoking when they designed this part of the camaro but taking these things out is a PITA!! I can't get them out, i've removed the headlight and all, I have clear access to it but on the side of the bumber/fender is that part that sticks out, it just won't let you squeeze in or out the corner light! What have you guys done at this point? Someone please shed some "light" on this for me! Thanks!

There is 3 7mm bolts that hold each lense in the bumper .
Two of the 7mm bolts are on the side facing the car and one 7mm bolt holding the bottom of the lense in the bumper . Hope this helps

It didn't, but thanks anyway. I'm done! My problem was the part where the bumper attaches to the fender, really, GM, what were you thinking??

Thanks anyway, AZ2ENVY

They are a bitch, my car did the same thing.

I pushed the big side towards the foam bumper, and pulled the bumper to me a little. Then, I went inbetwen the two screws on the fender. It's a VERY tight fit. I chipped my yellows one the first them. Since then, I went from clears to smoked with no issues.

Pull the bumper towards you (it's hard to describe) to give you a bit of room.

You'll be fine.

What are you guys talking about?????? I can put them in blindfolded... seriously. Are you taking them out from the top? Remove the plastic trays on the underbody and everything is right there.

And it's a helluva lot easier than pulling the head light and dealing with all that mess from the top.

Rest assured it's cake going from the bottom. 3 plastic push pin screws, bend the flap, and you'll have plenty of access.

Goodluck!

I can't seem to get the small corner past that steel lip inside the fender! I'm seriously considering removing the headlight assembly.

I changed it out on the fly just to pass for a sticker. All you've got to do is take it from the bottom like stated above. Use a flashlight if you need to so you can see inside the fender.

If you guys notice all the people who are having trouble own LS1 bodystyles and everyone who says its easy and to do it from the bottom own LT1 bodystlyes. I know on an LT1 its real easy to do it from the bottom, but maybe on an LS1 its hard.
