Bubbling in vinyl stripes

I recently applied some stripes to the Z28 and after letting the stripes dry for the night i came out and found a couple bubbles under the vinyl. Now, the site that i bought the stripes from says to take a needle and pop the bubble, problem solved. But I began reading around and found other sites that say very specificly not to pop any bubbles because the vinyl is stretched and that tiny hole will become bigger. Anybody know which of these is correct or have any other solutions?

Its not that big of a deal because its only 1 or 2 spots that are under the spoiler anyway and can't be seen unless you look under the spoiler from the front, but it does bother me when i notice it.

Take a needle and pop the bubble, trust me, it'll turn out way better... I've done that with ALL my vinyl I've ever put on any car. It'll look like crap the first week or so, and you'll think you've messed up, but pretty soon when the heat gets to it and it stretches / shrinks from going hot to cold, it'll look perfect.

give it a week or 2 and park the car outside in the sun/heat all day, and they might dry out. Some of mine did but if they dont then pop them with a needle and just flatten them, thats what I had done.
