upper rear seat upholstery removal... how to remove fold down latch handles.

i'm in the process of stripping my seats of their upholstery for recovering and i cannot figure out how to remove the handles off the back seat to get the leather off. it appears there is some sort of bolt in the middle of the handle but its not a torx and while it looks like a philips head, i have never seen a screwdriver that big. i tried a flathead that i had that i was able to put in there but it wouldn't budge.

any ideas?

has anyone here ever taken the upholstery off a 4th gen T/A ? (or camaro, if they have the same latch releases)

Not trying to be a pita... but you should buy the correct set of screwdrivers for 15 bucks, plus you will have them forever and probably need them again
