yea thats what im going to do im looking for z28 or ss. um what do you mean is it 3 or 4 forward? sorry i dont know much when it comes to engine and gears

The 700R4 or the 4L60E has four forward gears..... 1, 2, 3 plus O/D (= 4th). A TH350 has three forward gears.... 1, 2, 3 (no overdrive). Without the overdrive, your engine will be turning excessive RPM at highway speeds, and your gas mileage will suffer.

Your V6 will respond well to the same things that help a V8... cold air intake, upgraded exhaust (catback at a minimum, plus headers at the max), a higher stall torque convertor, a higher numerical rear axle ratio (e.g. - 3.73:1), and a small shot of nitrous.

And forced induction. The 3.8L turbo cars are nice so there is potential (T-type, TTA. Not a 3.8L but still a 90* V6 the Sy/Ty's). Even the 3.8L supercharged rides can be fast (Grand Prix GTP).
