Tire rubbing

Tire rubbing
I just had new rims put on my 96 camaro, yhey are 16x8 centerline billet wheels. My problem is that when I have riders, the tire rubs on the fender lip over bumps. Are there any mods I can do to alleviate this problem? Can I shave off some of the fender lip?
