you can make a mixture of clear coat and black paint to your preferred darkness and sand down the lights and paint them. I haven't tried it but I will when it comes to the point in my restoration. The tail lights are all cracked up anyways, they will be a test. I suppose you could tape the part you don't want tinted off and paint it clear later. don't know how thatd turn out but obviously whatever you did worked. looks nice man
