tinting the tail lights, with a twist!

Does anyone have a pic of the taillights being tinted, minus the clear part for the reverse lights? I noticed there is a line there that flows into the spoiler, and was curious as to how it would look.

Heres my 5min attempt while here at work (using MS paint)

I like it Im thinking about doing this and getting clear corners for all the markers for a nice clean touch.

I was going to do that with my car, but decided not to because my car is so dark. I think it looks really good on lighter color cars like white, and silver.

i had considered doing that to mine a long time ago, but coudlnt figure out how it would flow with the berger style rear. I think it would look really good, but wouldnt do it without a spare set of tail lights, though on a sidenote im doing the same thing on the cargolight on my silverado.

personally i think it would look sweet on that car of yours though!

Finally got the tail lights on. I also got clear side markers. Sorry the car is filthy, I just put em on here at work to see what it looks like. Turns out the passenger side is not as dark as the drivers, but oh well I am not going to mess with it. Its not really that noticable anyways. This is with 3 coats of VHT, and 3 coats of clear. I didnt want to go too dark because every car I have ever owned I have been rear ended in except for this one. Now if my clear turn signals would just hurry up and get here!
