i got a 96 z28 how do u get the tape holder out under the radio. does that peace just come out of is connect to the hole hole thing?

 

It is connected with plast rivits in addition to the nut/bolt on the back which you can see. Just put a flat headed screw driver in between this tape holder and the center console and twist. They'll pop and come loose. When you put it back together, just use some dabs of silicone between them and it will hold good enough.
