taillights delaminating

I have a 95 formula/firehawk and the rear light seem to be delaminating ( rightside / passenger). Is this a common problem? The lights are in good shape otherwise. It seems as if the square pattern in the light is coming unglued on the inside. The car has always been garaged since I bought it in 1997 and is only driven on weekends. To date it only has 31750 miles on it. Any suggestions for repair or replacment?

GMparts direct wants $160 for replacment part number 5978022.
