Will a 98+ tail lights work in my 94? I want to make sure its an even swap. I am running altezza's now but I might switch them back and forth just to do it. Will all the 94 lights fit into a 98+ housing? ANY mods whatsoever besides changing the lights?

 

From what I've read, some of the "ears" on the 98+ tail lights need to be trimmed. Also, the lights don't exactly light up correctly, either, because 93-93 cars have basically two lights, where as 98+ have three.

I put some on my '94 and here's what I found out. If you can get the bulb sockets to fit in ok on the new taillight using your existing wiring harness...you will be fine.

All you need to do is cut the constant wire that runs to the (new) amber lens. That's it. Congratulations, nothing hard required.
