Tail light covers adhesive?
Tail light covers adhesive?
Hey I just picked up some Wade tail light covers and I like them and all but the mounting tape or whatever that was said to be included in the instruction, well wasn't included. Any idea on how to adhere the cover to my lights?
I was thinking about spray adhesive but would you see it and would the chemicals ruin the plastic? Any ideas?

Re: Tail light covers adhesive?
I used the velcro with adhesive on the back of it. I put them at the very corner(towrads outside of car), top of the reverse light, and at the bottom the tail light. You can kinda see 1 or 2 strips of it when my lights are on but thats it. It works well
Re: Tail light covers adhesive?
mine snap in place too, but after I lost 2 covers both from the driver side, I figured with the 3rd set I would play it safe and put velcro on it
Re: Tail light covers adhesive?
Most, if not all, Wade brand covers are a flush fit design and require them to be mounted and not snapped in place. They should have come with dual lock tape.
To the original Poster:
DO NOT use velcro. Velcro doesn't hold near as well as DualLock and wears out faster. You should be able to find it in a hardware store or automotive store. You can also order it online. It's similar to velcro, but made of plastic like material....just think plastic velcro....if that makes any sense lol
