Re: t-top leaks

Are you sure it's the T-Tops??

If there's water in the rear floor wells, then most likely it's overflowing the hatch sills and running down underneath the rear seat.... Not a T-Top Problem

Re: t-top leaks

I used to have an 87 with ttops that leaked really badly. I smeared the whole rubber seal area with Vaseline & it kept the water out. I had to redo this every few months & it does make kind of a mess if you are not careful, but it did stop the leaks. Good luck.

Re: t-top leaks

My 96 T/A leaked bad. After messing with the T-Tops it still poured.
On day I had enough, I put my son on the water hose and I got in that car.
Come to find out the windshield leaking.

Took it to the glass shop to get the windshield replaced and 75% of the urethane had come loose from the windshield frame.

The guys where able to remove it and clean all the urethane off that reinstall it.
