I say go for it, I did the targa Top Conversion.

What did you do to reinforce the rest of the car? I'm still debating on the targa conversion. I haven't even begun to find out the parts needed though. Should have just done that to begin with. Shoot me a PM.

 

i dont mean to get off topic, but i believe i still have ttop weather stripping from the 98 Z i used for parts, lemme know if you still need it, and dont forget those little plastic end caps for the center brace, $2.50 for both from GM

 

I wouldn't do it. My t-tops leak like a sieve, and they're factory. Wet carpet stinks.

 

man...i'm looking to get rid of my apillar covers...but they are from a 96, i think you mentioned the car was a 97+?? if you know anyone that wants them or needs them..i just want to get rid of them for free. i hate throwing things out other people could use.
