Okay, I was warned but paid little attention. My 02 firehawk has a stress crease in my rear quarter panel. It looks like a dimple, I did race at the track a couple of times. I just bought SLP SFC's and the car is going in the shop today to have the rear quarter redone. I highly recommend the sfc's if you're gonna race your LS1 car. It's gonna cost a few hundred bucks for my stupidity. Anyone else have this same problem?

 

I have the dimples on my 94. SFC's are on my Chrismas list, and then body work. I've read in threads on this site that it is very common, and completely remedied with SFC's.

 

I got rid of them on my 94. Maybe I should get some SFCs, incase they try to come back!

 

I'm looking forward to picking up the hawk all perrrdied up tomorrow. Then it goes in the garage under the car-cover for a few months.

 

I envy you guys that can keep your car covered for the winter. Mine is my spring, summer, fall, and winter beater! But yah, when I bought mine, it already had them in the quarter panel. I want to get SFC's real soon, and hopefully in the not to distant future(read, within a few years) ill get some bodywork done. Do you guys also have ripples, or just dimples, cuz my car has ripples as well as dimples. Maybe mine is just SOOO powerful
