spray can primer question

I bought rust-oleum automotive spray can primer and was wondering if I can spray a aftermaket fiberglass hood with it. I dont know if it is a urathaine base or not. I allready sprayed real primer on it and I want to add a little more just to even it out and fill some small imperfections. Please help.

Re: spray can primer question

really wont do much other than possibly react with the other materials. SEM makes a spray primer that is supposed to be safe but I havnt heard about the rustolem.

Honestly get some automotive fill prime or surfacer.
