I ordered my LM and CAI from them, from time of order to time of shipment it was 3 days, then UPS took 4 to get here. My package arrived VERY well packaged, with instructions, no stickers, so I asked them for stickers, I got stickers. (dont they add like 40 RWHP )

So good experience here, but it seems I am one of few.
They used newspaper as packing material for my items WTF

I have had mostly good experiences with SLP, but I always keep my options open.

As for this case, if you don't want to keep the hood, I would get on the phone with your credit card company. They work for you, not SLP. You should be surprised to find out how much they can help. Everytime I've ever had a dispute with a vendor, my credit card company has sided with me 100%. I always received a refund. Don't buy into anything SLP is telling you about this.

The only problem you would have is if you have already painted/prepped or otherwise modified the hood. If you haven't done anything to the hood and it's a piece of crap, then SLP doesn't have a leg to stand on. However, you will most likely be out any shipping charges to or from SLP.

I have ordered from them only once. I got a $100 take off diff and a 160 thermo. You may of already guessed what happened. They sent them both in the same box. The thermo was a pancake when I got it.

I tried to warn you guys about SLP and the UltraZ hood. It's a piece of crap. Mine fit horrible, and eventually cracked due to a weak design. SLP blamed me, blamed the body shop, and blamed the shipper. However, other's on the board had their's break in exactly the same spot. SLP jerked me around for over a YEAR until I finally just gave up.

C'mon, guys. Let's not make this worse than what it is. There is no need to involve their message board policies and such. Their message board is different from ones like this one. Theirs is designed more to enhance their sales, which is what they are in business for.

SLP has had some problems in the past, but they are trying very hard to get past those and provide better service and such. If you have a problem, go here:
http://www.slponline.com/slp_contact/contact.asp
That goes to the VP of Performance Parts. I canot guarantee any particulars of what will happen, but I am told this is a better way to go than to get frustrated and give up.

And Tom (SloMoFo)...
You are not one to measure by. You have been banned from more sites than I can count (including this one, right?) so don't make it sound like it just happened out of the blue. I am sure you did something to get kicked off there, and I seriously doubt they sent you vulgar e-mails. If they did you probably deserved it!

I am told they are aware of this thread and are working on the original problem.
