Side molding removal

Side molding removal

how do u get the side moldings off... i think its ulgy and messes up the lines of the car...plus their dirty from somethin that got on my paint and i cant get it off...so yea how do u get them off? just pry at them?

my friend used bug and tar remover and was pretty easy according to him. you can find it at any auto part store.

If I were you, I'd keep them on. Just my .02 cents. If you do take them off, you will get A LOT more door dings. Eventually your doors will look like hail damaged crap. That's why I'm keepin mine on. If they didn't go with the lines of the car, they wouldn't have come factory. Just try and get whatever is on them off.

I removed mine a couple weeks ago. I used dental floss to get it started, then just pulled the molding away from the car to get it off. Then I used my fingers to peel all the sticky stuff of my car, and finally Bug & Tar Remover to clean up any last traces of tape.
