Short shifter A4 style

I loped off 3/4" off my A4 shifter My **** looks so much better. 15 min and a dremel and its very easy to do. Now its the right height to rest my hand. BTW thats a 2005 leather trailblazer SS ****

Nice. Little touches make the difference.

Did the TBSS handle just thread on like a direct replacement?

The trailblazer handles comes with a leather shift boot also, which I removed. It uses a set screw in front, no U clip. Also it slides right on and only has 1 notch inside to alighn on the shift rod. The release **** sits offset on the rod also points back a bit(see pix)

It looks like you used the S2000 switch. Did you bypass VATS to wire it, or do you still use the key to power up?

Left the VATS system intact. I have the relay ground hooked up to the brake pedal, requiring you to push the brake when starting. Its a showy thing but cool anyway. I used some ABS and fillled the hole where the cubby was. Easy to do.

so do you still have to put the key in the car to start it? My altima had push button with no key.. and I must admit, I somewhat miss it, but how secure is it really? O_O.

Nice mod to the shifter too btw.

Yep. Gauge cluster will soon be silver (Macewens) And the seats will be two tone silver and black
