shift **** thread size

Im making a custom shift **** and i wanted to find out what the thread size is that i need to tap. does anyone know this?

i got a hurst **** here in the package that i thought would fit my hurst billet plus but it fits the stock size shifter.

. On the package it says 16mm x 1.50 threads.

after trying many different bolt sizes in my stock hurst shift ****...i found it to be 5/8 fine thread. Hope this helps
