I am a former owner of a '99 Z/28 (great car) and now have a '70 Corvette.

I am currently converting the rear seatbelts of a Camaro to be front shoulder belts for my Vette.

My question is: The seat belt set that I bought has a rectangular red button on the female portion, and I was told that I need the rear belts from a '96 - '02 Camaro/Firebird, and that these supposedly came with a square red button. Can anybody tell me what year belts I bought?
