Scratched windows

I have a 95 z-28 and my driverside window has this big scratch on it. I think it was because of broken window brackets. I was wondering if there was any type of product like a polish or something that would make it seem less noticable. thanks

Never heard of anything like that. New window is my brilliant suggestion.

This will remove "fine to medium" scratches...

If it is extremely bad, you may want to check a local windshield repair place...

thanks i'll give it a try, I'm retinting my windows and i have to make a decision on whether or not the window is salvagable. I know a new window costs somewhere around $250. That plus tinting cost a little more than i want to spend on windows but i may have to

(a guy that works at a auto glass repair place told me this)
If the scratch is deep enough to wear your finger nail catches it you will never be able to polish it back to new
but you can polish it to where it doesn't look as bad

Go to this site http://www.eastwoodcompany.com/ and click on the glass and plastic link they say this kit is for deep scratches
it might work

Eastwood kit

I had scratches on my glass from an icescraper and I tried the kit. It had good reviews but it didn't do much for me. It only removed the barely visible ones and slightly lightened the others. The scratches weren't even that bad imho.....you couldn't ven feel them with a fingernail. The kit is probably your only choice because all the auto glass shops I called wouldn't even attempt to fix scratches (as it can damage the glass). Good luck.
