Sanding question

OK, on a panel like the front bumper or rear berger (the plastic like stuff) should I wet sand or dry sand? I have 1000 and 2000 grit paper, should I start with 1000 then go to 2000?

Re: Sanding question

With that fine of a grit you are going to want to wet sand, so the paper stays clean.
