Sagging door

My driver's side door sags when you open it and then when it hits a certain point you can feel it drop a little more. How much do you think a body shop would charge to fix this because I'm pretty sure I can't do it? Also, the interior door panel on the same door is coming off...how can I reattach it?

Re: Sagging door

I used to have the same problem when I had my camaro. You have to take off the hinge and re weld it. It sucks to have that done but thats whats wrong. I never got it fixed just sold it like that.

Re: Sagging door

You may want to check the bushings in the door hinges because they probably need to be replaced. That's not uncommon for 3rd gen f-bodies. I had several 91 camaros that did that. you probably need to take it to a body shop though. About your door pannel, go to a junk yard and look for those plastic pieces that screw into the door pannel and pop into the door. Yours may need to be replaced.
