rust need help on fixing it
My 95 v6 camaro has a 8"x8" rust hole in the passenger side rear foot area.
Would it be better to rivet a piece of metal over the hole or do i weld the metal to the floorboard.

pull the carpet up in that area. clean the edges of the hole and remove all visible rust. take the car to a welding shop like tuffy, or a race shop and have them weld a plate on the floor.
make sure its thick, not flimsy or anything like that.
