Custom Gauge Overlays

I've been searching a lot on this subject. I know photoshop very well. I have a couple of questions. . .

On this site http://www.bfranker.badz28.com/fbody/overlays.htm there are some overlays. Except that the print sizes of the images are around 600dpi or 1dpi and print out very small. Which are almost unusable to me for printing. The only thing I can use them for is to blow them up to a bigger print size, use the image as a edge to follow, redo all the numbers, and start guessing print sizes until I find one that fits. For instance, this speedo http://www.bfranker.badz28.com/fbody...96%20speedo%20(red).jpg comes up as 72dpi 68.625x35.292 which is will print out an image too large, and wont be as crisp as a new 200dpi file.

Then on this how to http://www3.sympatico.ca/rickdupuis/...tom_gauge.htm, it just says to make them fit on a standard page before printing. . . I can see how this would work if you scanned them into photoshop yourself at least 200 dpi and printed them out right from there. But with the gauge overlays you can copy, they arent in printable format.

Couple more questions. . .
Did you guys use matte or glossy photo paper?
Can you use the 94 z28 speedo on a v6?

Thanks in advance. Sorry if this loses anyone!
