Retro Nose Emblem?

I am going to be putting the old school Z badges on my car, and i thought it might be cool to also put on a retro style nose emblem, here it is:

I am just curious if this will fit the current slot on the bumper, or at least cover the indention. they dont give any dimensions.

Thanks Guys

It will cover the indention, but it also stands high on the bumper (it is MUCH taller on the sides than the current stick on thin ones you have) It looks OK, but just OK. If I see the car around here that has it, I'll snap a pic.

It does cover the indentaion but remember the curve of the nose a bit differant. The Studs on the back have to be hacked off and the bezel has to be shaved down a bit to sit right. 3M adhesive is your best friend here.

I also may be getting a billet piece done in powdercoated black. I will have to decide soon.

Re: Retro Nose Emblem?

Thanks for the compliment. Dont get many of those from this board.
All i mean is the back side of the emblem that touches the body of the car. Second gens noses had more of an angle to them so the emblem tends to curve to that ridge. 4th gen noses are more flat so that emblem will seem to sit on it's edges... here's the best i can do...

2nd gen=emblem - ^
nose ---- ^

4th gen=emblem - ^
nose ---- __

If that makes any since. LOL Basically you just need to sand down the back of the emblem to make it sit flater on our nose. Thats all.
