Millenium Yellow with ghost flames. I am thinking about sooner or later doing this to my T/A or having Todd Hanson do a blue flame job. My T/A right now is black. I think the Millenium Yellow would look sweeter than black plus you already have like what 2 or 3 more F-Bods lying around?

Cool

Ok... talked to the body shop guy again and it has been decided

Millenium Yellow it is

I'm kinda doing a combination of what you guys are recommending. I'm painting the mirrors and top portion yellow too. I have t-tops and dark tinted windows so that'll be my "black"

I plan to take it to the shop this weekend and they said it'll take about a month to finish. Wish me luck

Cool

Also, front headlight area and fog light area will be black too. Not sure if I'm going to leave the calipers red or paint them black. If I leave them red, I'll most likely do the rear hatch CAMARO in red but if I change the calipers to black or polished I'll make this rear CAMARO black... I think

That's what Steve told me and have heard others mention it as I also had read it on the vette formum.. Here's a link to what i was talking about. The very last post says its. There's yellow in the clear coat as far as I know.

Hey BRENT!

That yellow would be awesome! Through a little pearl in there I know it is hard to make the decision, but whatever you decide, I am sure it will look good!

I can't wait to see it. However, I am a fan of the WHOLE car being yellow. No coon eyes at the head lights. And do the grill yellow. It's your car though!!

I am sure it will be BAD!!

Let us all know what you decide

Hi Brent,

I realize you have already made your decision, but just in case, I'll throw in my vote...

Black! :-)

I'm not biased or anything though........

I'm really sorry to hear about the accident. But I know you'll make sure she is fixed right! Can't tell you have many times I've missed that car though.

Hmm... I read that topic and it is a bit confusing It sounds like several have had perfect matches by just "painting it" but the last guy goes on to say there is yellow in the base, color, and clear? Strange. I think it may have a tint base, color, then clear (that would be a three step process) but not sure. I have told the paint/body guy to look into it and he said he would. If it is a tint based paint he said I'll have to pay like $150 more to help cover the cost of the paint but he isn't going to charge me any extra for the labor. I can live with that I suppose Thanks again for the info!

Hey Angela! Coon eyes! LOL!

I prefer to break things up a little. In this thread there is a small picture of yellow with black headlights and I do believe I like that better than just a solid yellow front. I'm going to try and do these areas in black to start with and if I don't like it, it won't be too terrible expensive to paint just the front again and make it all yellow. I believe I'm going to like it though

Here are some pics of two red camaros. One with solid red and one with the black. I just like the black offset a little more

All red...

Red with black...

We'll give her a shot and see how it comes out

Hey Bryan! I didn't realize you read/posted on this board anymore! Good to see you are still around!

Yep, I smashed it up a bit But, in reality, it is going to look better in a month than it did when it was new so at least something good will come out of it! Also, that's a sharp looking car you have there! Not as nice as the one you got rid of but still pretty nice looking

Keep in touch and definitely check back for the pictures of your old car in millenium yellow!
