Question Removing Sun Visors

I have a crappy sunvisor on my car that I want to replace with a nice sun visor. The nice sunvisor happens to have a broken bracket.

Is there a way I can take the crappy visor off the existing rod and put the nicer one back on that same rod?

Has anyone dealt with this before?

Thanks, in advance!

E

I took my visors off because I don't like them. The part that goes into the visor itself is just a bar about three inches long. I think you should be able to get the new visors onto the old brackets if you just push them on hard enough. If that doesn't work just sell em to some ricer as "performance visors" or some crap. Good luck!

LOL... Thanks for the advice! I'll try the first and if that doesn't work, I'll try the second!

Just take 'em off completely. Mine kept flying back when I would hit the go-pedal, so I did the !visors mod.

Hey Chris,

James Grover Thurber (JT) was an author, cartoonist and humorist who grew up in Columbus Ohio, and gained his fame writing articles and cartoons that graced the pages of the New Yorker from 1927 until his death in 1961.

I saw that quote about 10 years ago and it has stuck with me.

By the way, you were right...the little rod pulls right off! Worked perfect!

Thanks, a bunch!
