Removing & Replacing Headliner Help

The headliner on my T-Top TA needs to be replaced. I have found sources for replacement headliners but I was wondering if the removal and replacement is fairly straight forward?

I assume that it is just held up with those typical interior panel push connectors but I'm not sure.

Has anyone done this who can give me some guidance? I don't suppose there are any pictures out there?

My project will be complicated by the 6-point roll cage. The top hoop comes within an inch or so of the headliner. That may make matters tough if it requires a lot of clearance.

Thanks for your help

If it's the same as the one in my Camaro then it is quite easy. I just removed the A-pillars, sun visors, the little hanging hooks on each side of the back seats, and the rear dome light. After that it's just held up behind the rear panels which you can bend down with the hooks removed and velcro in the middle of the T-Tops.

That sounds very easy. Hmm, no clips or push pins or anything? That sounds like it will slip out between my roll bar without much difficulty then?

Thanks for the response!

I think you should be able to get it out rather easily. I think there may have been one of those plastic clips under rear dome light cover but I don't remember any other ones. I would suggest a second set of hands when putting the new one in so you don't have to worry about tearing or bending it too much.
