Removing formula spoiler from hatch?

Can you remove the formula spoiler from the hatch? in other words, can you shave off the whole thing and be left with a regular looking trunk line, or would i need to first switch to a Trans Am hatch to remove the spoiler?

I'm guessing the latter....

thanks,
-brent

Re: Removing formula spoiler from hatch?

I would say the latter... from looking at my car, the Formula spolier is molded into the hatch...

It's molded on but I guess you could sand it off. It would take a LONG time though. Just buy the t/a hatch, you'll need to buy the glass with it too, just to make it easier.
