Removing the back panel

Is it at all difficult to remove the back panel, the one that says Camaro? I just bought a black one to give it the Berger look(my car is red) and I was just curious to know if it would be hard to do this on my own.

There was an article covering this topic in a past issue of 'Camaro World' magazine. (Sorry, I don't have the article) It appeared to be relatively easy. Maybe you can contact WWC to get the information?

Really easy to do...
1. Pop the hatch
2. Remove tailights
3. Roll back the carpet agaisnt the back
4. Remove the 4 nuts that hold the back panel in place
5. Open a beer and look at what you did
6. Reverse the order
Goodluck bro! The Berger fascia really breaks the rear of our cars up!!

Really easy to put on- the biggest pain was taking out the spare and putting it in.

I have one of these facias from my old car if anyone is interested in buying it. It does have the chevy ss emblem on like the stock one in black with white outlining. Just give me an email.

Black Back Panel

It's not that hard . . . I removed mine and painted it black myself. I'm no body shop tech.

I think it looks cool and others have said the same!

Good Luck

It's flat black from a spray bomb!!

I had it semi-gloss but others seemed to think it looked "Race Car Like" flat black so I changed it. The car is mostly used on the race track and to a car show once in a while so I can tell my car club It's a street car!
