Question about polished aluminum wheels...

I was wanting to get a set of the chrome z06 wheels that comes with tires on ebay from AFS, but they haven't put a set of them up in about a month. They have a lot of the polished aluminum sets though. Would the finish on these wheels not last very long? I don't want to get them if they'll look crappy in a couple months. Thanks for any help.

Well, I found these, but it's just a guy selling AFS's wheels.

Anyone ever bought from him?

I would not buy from that guy it looks like he just built up his feedback selling cheap pens only to rip someone off for a quick grand.

He also accepts only money orders...no protection there...

Polished aluminum will have to be maintained. It isn't as "bling" as chrome which is why some people like it - also it is the metal itself - so you don't have to worry about the finish wearing off, chipping, etc. You do have to keep it clean though, and polish it every so often. If you are comparing it to chrome...go with chrome.

poilshed aluminum doesnt exactly have to be maintained, well as far as polishing them every so often... once will do it

I have polished rims on my car right now. I polish them maybe once a year. And they look great the rest of the time. They can look like chrome if you polish them up well.

Thanks everyone. I just didn't know if after a while the polished wheels would start looking as bad as my stock one's.

Where would be the best place to get the lug nuts from?
