Question Question about hella 90mm's

I just blew a bulb while installing the low beams so now I'm kinda hesitant to continue before I find out if there was something I need to do to the power or something. Any ideas why the bulb would go out so soon? I only turned it on a few times just to see what they looked like.

EDIT: Never mind, I guess I was just stupid. It burned out because I only had one light plugged in at the time so it drew too much power.

I don't see why that would blow a bulb. Its not like anytime one headlight burns out, the other one follows because now it's drawing too much power. Either somthing is wrong or you just got a bad bulb.
