question: 96 to 99 seats/door panels
question: 96 to 99 seats/door panels
I've got a 96 SS with tired interior. Leather with power drivers seat, power mirrors, locks and windows
If I buy door panels and seats out of a 99 camaro will everything bolt up and plug up just as my factory 96 stuff does? My main concern is the power seat harness.
any insight or help is appreciated

thanks for the heads up.
the seats in my 96 only have 39K on them but the passenger seat is REALLY hard. what causes that?
since the car sits so much I think I'll get the newer seats and keep them conditioned.

Is the leather hard or the foam?
Our '02 is very very rarely driven, so I have to use ArmorAll leather moisturizer or whatever (it has a brown lid -- it isn't a leather cleaner) on it after nearly every drive. The leather gets really hard if I don't.
With regard to the foam being hard, my Corolla has the most uncomfortable passenger seat known to man. The first owner used the car for driving to college and back home and said he rarely had anyone else in the car with him. So the foam is really hard from lack of use.
In all honesty, I really don't like the newer seat covers if you want my personal opinion. The leather seems much thinner, shows wear/damage much more, and the breathing holes in the center area are pretty much useless and ugly. I really like the way the '93-'96 leather looks, and it definitely feels much thicker.
The seats and everything will bolt up directly if you do decide to change.
