In the process of doing the BERGER Panel on my Z28.

I sanded it down.

Prepped it

Hit it with 3 coats of primer so far...I got about 20 more minutes before I put the color coat on..

I am going with FLAT Black. Should look good im hoping!!

I will post pics ASAP.

Any tips???

Tip: Gloss black berger panels look better. Go with that.

I'm not trying to sound stupid or anything, but is the berger panel that piece in the back that some people paint black?

Yep, I personally like gloss black more as well myself. I was thinking of doing it to my car one day when I get around to it.

To eliminate having to paint....just look for a panel from a black camaro..already nice and glossy

I used a Rattle can.

I'm very good with a rattle can.

It came out AWESOME! I pat myself on the back for it haha.

Its to dark right now and the pics came out crappy. But I will post up some "in the process" pics

I did mine Semi-Gloss. I didn't do any real sanding; I just scuffed most of it up with a green scuff pad but I did have to sand where the emblem went. I think it turned out nice though.

If I were to do it again, I would sand the whole thing, and prime and spray it using a real paint gun.

I believe the actual Berger panel is satin black.
