Re: Post your high mile 4th gen :p

My 95Z just turned 116k yesterday. most of the stuff that goes on these cars(wp, opti, head gaskets, icm...ect) have all been replaced and the 4l60e has been rebuilt with upgrades, shift kit and stall. I think she should go for quite some time before it needs anything....runs like a beast.

Re: Post your high mile 4th gen :p

No pics right now since I just joined the site and am at work but I have a 95' Z28, hardtop, automatic finally started having problems at 248,000+ miles on original LT1 motor. Guy I took it to said it had a cracked head gasket. Buddy said with the amount of miles and the cost of replacing the head gasket it would be better just to rebuild the motor or get a new motor. Was saving up money for that when a few days ago I saw a 96 Z28, T-Top, 6 speed on a lot and bought that. It has 141,000 miles on its original LT1 motor and besides needing a new clutch is running beautifully.

Re: Post your high mile 4th gen :p

That is correct sir. I've been asked why I want to keep the 95 since I got the new one. People who have never owned a Camaro just don't understand. Also because I've always wanted a Camaro and it's the first one I've ever owned.
