Those stripes are awesome!

If you don't mind me saying so, the car could look a bit better in the details though. The bowtie on the back around the lock looks kind of goofy, and the Z28 emblem is crooked. The bowtie on the front looks chipped up, but I'm not sure that isn't something intentionally painted like that. Is it painted with a mud splatter effect? The hood grill would look better painted black. Hope you don't mind the critique!

Eric, quick question. Were the chrome ZR1s available on the SS or did you have to get them separately from SLP?

Brandon,

The wheels on my car are O.E. Concepts Diamond Chrome ZR1's (17x9.5/11). As far as I know, chrome ZR1's were NOT available on the 96-97 SS, I know they were available on the LS1 SS's but not sure what year they started that. My buddy has a 2000 SS with Chrome ZR1's which I believe are original. The previous owner of my car bought them from a guy on the local f-body website. I was unable to track down the original wheels from my car but purchased a set of OEM ZR1's off a low mileage 1997 SS.

* Note: The "correct" lug nuts should be black, I didn't put those on in this pic.

nah i dont mind.the white bowtie up front was replaced w/a red one i just havent gotten a good pic of it yet, i think there might be one in my album that u can barely see it. the z28 emblem is prolly just a bad angle from when i took the pic (im not 2 good at takin pics). i agree w/the grill on the front that one piece of chrome kinda sticks out like a sore thumb. the bowtie on the back was shipped 2 me extra w/the other emblems and i didnt have anywhere 2 put it so i just put it there 2 add a lil more red color 2 the back.

Thanks! I wish I could work on it more, but since it doesn't earn any money, it's hard to find the time!

209K. Turbo charged it at 207K and still running strong, but fate is probably around the corner.

Can you take a pic of your window sticker so I can see proof? Don't want to be inaccurate on my site.
