Re: Pontiac Trans am 25th anniversary // Blown 396
Blown-396, would you mind providing me your VIN # so I can check it for an RPO code specific to Finland? I'm gathering information for my site for the export section. I realize your car isn't a Camaro, but I'm betting the RPO code(s) specific to the export of your car to Europe are the same as what a Camaro would have.

I wrote Finland instead of Iceland by mistake, sorry.
Thanks for the VIN!
I haven't done a lot of research into the exported cars yet, but it seems like your car has the codes specific to California Emissions. I'll need to wait until I have time and enough cars' VINs to verify what is what.

I don't think his is an actual export-spec car. It has none of the export-specific stuff that the red V6 in your other thread does; additionally, the OP says the car came to Iceland in 2004, which leads me to believe it was an original California car that eventually made its way overseas. Perhaps the OP can shed some light on all this.

I bought this car from California in 2004 an imported it here. If you look at the pictures you can see what it looked like when I bought it. Since then me and my son who is the owner of the car now, have replaced all the skin on the front end except the hood. Also alot of other work on the body and more.

I love it. So nice to see this car get rescued..and over seas!!!!.
This must cost a fortune to get parts for and get to the country.
Are there many fbodes in Iceland?

Yes prices to us are pretty high, but we try to go by the saying " No pain no gain"
There are quite some numbers f-bodys of all 4 generations here compared to only 330 thousand people living here
