Pin on or Bolt on?
Pin on or Bolt on?
Looking at these:
'93-97 2-inch Cowl Induction Pin On Hood. Price=275.00 Weight=12 Ship: Truck Freight.

'93-97 2-inch Cowl Induction Bolt On Hood. Price=400.00 Weight=20 Ship: Truck Freight.

couldnt I just transfer the stock struts over to the pin on and make it a bolt on, providing it is not already drilled and has the proper fittings?

Re: Pin on or Bolt on?
Nope. They aren't structurally sound enough to be a bolt on hood plus they don't even come setup to accept your hinges and pretty sure even the front latch.
Look at the difference in the weight and that'll tell you too that it is a much more "flimsy" hood. Pin on works fine for drag racers looking to save weight but for the average Joe I'd recommend the bolt on.

Try asking a specific question about this in the Drivetrain forum and those guys can help you out. I don't know much about them but did just hear recently from my tranny buds that some new disks came out that are thinner (use more of em) and seem to work quite a bit better for high hp applications than the previous "good" ones.
