Pics of the new steering wheel.

This is the steering wheel I recieved as a gift from a friend on christmas. Yes the buttons are hooked up to the horn.

You can get a "billet" spacer to replace that ugly rubber bellows, as long as it matches the Grant 5-bolt patttern.

It took me a total of 7 min to do. just make sure you have a steering wheel puller and torx bits

Grant makes the billet spacers in 1" or 2" thickness, either gloss black or polished aluminum. You should be able to find the part # on the Grant website, and any place that sells Grant products can get it based on the part #. I found mine at a local auto parts store. Unfortunately, they aren't cheap.

I still have them both. Want to buy them? I cut ya a deal on them. Hell Ill throw in the whole stock steering wheel if you want.

No im no longer driving a f-body. Im a c4 kind of guy now days. I was just curious if you disconnected them and everything in 7 minutes?

It took 7 min to completely remove the steering wheel. This included removing the + batt cable the the 4 torx bolts holding the steering wheel air bag on, the nut holding the steering wheel on and pulling the steering wheel with a 3 jaw puller. It only too another 3 or 4 min to insall the new wheel and kit.

No, dont do it! TPS switch w/ RPM window switch!!! LOL
But I do like the look, I'd like to ditch my airbag wheel too!!!
