would that be the install cost? We charge 85 for our shop and another local shop charges $185 to install. If you can find one that cheap, you are lucky

Ghost, dunno who you are talking to but mine are Street Glow Gold series and I got my at wholesale cost when I use to work at an audio shop. It does light up pretty well.

i have streetglow gold series under my car and streetglow 20" inside (thinking about switching to chrome series for the inside)...
PaulN64, my local shop charges $100, but he has to spend money on a toggle switch, wire, connectors, ect, so i just said $50. I got my kit (2-56", 2-36", transformer and clamps) for $155 then $20 for shipping and $4 for insurance ($179 total). my local shop charges $200 for the kit and $100 to install.
gh0st, yes, they light up very good. if you're going to get neons, go with streetglow. i've tried other neons, but streetglow are the brightest, have the deepest color and have a lifetime warrenty (i sound like a salesman, don't i?). you can see mine on from probably a half mile away...you probably won't know what they are, but you'll see red lights going down the road. like i said, if you need help putting them on, i can give you steps (in detail) on how to do it...its actually REALLY easy to do.

if you get SFC, you won't be able to go with Street Glow at all. Low Glow, or Lite Glow sould be a better choice since they have smaller bulbs.

let me correct myself. If you do get the SFC, you'll have to put the tubes outside the frame

that's the downside. You can see them and they can get damaged eaiser. I know, Sears damaged mine when they put it on the lift, but then I do have a lowered car.

i have mine screwed to my frame so that the frame is the lowest part of my car incase i were to hit something (ie a racoon or something). I paid $179 ($155 + $20 +$4)...and put them in myself. My local neon/audio company charges $200 and $100 for installation. I should have pics of the lights in about a week.
