A man named Tom from American Appraisal Group came out on Saturday and did a thorough inspection of the car for insurance (I LOVE YOU GRUNDY!) purposes and retail value. I will know in about 2 weeks what the main office came up with on her. I expect in the 60-100k range (he seems to think that it may be more) Anyhow, I went to Barrett Jackson in January of this year to scout, and I think my car could do well there, as newer cars there half as nice were going for over 40k. So I am preparing to send in my package to B/J and we will see...

How come you want to sell? It looks like alot of work went into that car. Nonetheless, good luck with the Barrett show.

I am just plain tired of it...Too much work and money, and I want something new to do like a restoration this time. It runs and drives but I trailer it to shows and I just am honestly getting a little old too.

Looks to be very thourough. I mean I don't think you left anything alone. I hope the right person is there and you get what you're after. You say 60-100 but any idea what you have tied up in it?

Well I certainly hope it does ok too Anyhow, I believe I have about 120k over the 12 years I have owned it. I have receipts for at least 60k proveable (big ticket stuff like paint, stereo, chroming etc) and I am in the process of trying to track down the rest of it.

I swear if I was a rich a-hole I'd offer you 100K right now. I've been a fan of your car for so many years I can't tell you. We met once at a Super Chevy show in Pomona a few years back and half the memory card in my camera was filled with your car. Best of luck with the sell, brother! Might I sugest a first gen for your next project?

Man... that's going to be a lucky new owner. I've loved your car since the early 2000s. I even remember the IMP (international master publishers) spec file or whatever for your car!

It's changed since I last saw it. Last time I saw pics, you didn't have a license plate on it and you had flames sprayed all over the seats. I always loved that white interior... is that vinyl or white leather? This might be my last time to ask since you'll likely be leaving after you sell the car.

I've always really liked this car, but I have one question. If you went through with all the modifications you did, why didn't you get a tubular K-member? I think that would have looked a lot better chromed than the stock piece.
