That paint looks beautiful man! Just curious how long did the body shop take to get it done? Definitely post up some photos when you get it all completed.

Thanks a lot! It took them roughly 7 work days, I believe. My big regret is not being able to have my engine bay sprayed. Had I the time or the money, it would have been done.

Tiger, it's a tad deeper than the original rally red. When the light hits it, it just bursts with bright vibrant red, but when the lights are a bit mor dim, you can really see the true color. I love the way it came out. And dont worry: There won't be any black wheels on this red beauty, i'm looking to polished (can't afford chrome lol)
A stage one paint job is just that...with probably 2-5 coats of the base paint color chosen to be sprayed...many cars in the 80's and early 90's used single stage paint jobs as it was cheaper and still looked pretty good.

The addition of clear helps protect the base color and also can leave a longer lasting smoother feeling shine. It is also easier to wetsand and get the "mirror glossy" look that many car entusiast desire.

Nothing wrong with single stage paintjobs...if the paint is protected and taken care of religiously...like most things...it will last. If not...the sun and weather will deteriorate it over time.

Nice results, not a bad price at all either.
