Tiger, it's a tad deeper than the original rally red. When the light hits it, it just bursts with bright vibrant red, but when the lights are a bit mor dim, you can really see the true color. I love the way it came out. And dont worry: There won't be any black wheels on this red beauty, i'm looking to polished (can't afford chrome lol)

The addition of clear helps protect the base color and also can leave a longer lasting smoother feeling shine. It is also easier to wetsand and get the "mirror glossy" look that many car entusiast desire.
Nothing wrong with single stage paintjobs...if the paint is protected and taken care of religiously...like most things...it will last. If not...the sun and weather will deteriorate it over time.
