Perminant Headlight Covers

Has anyone cut into the front bumper or made a front end with the headlights perminantly attached. I have the gts and they keep falling off, so i was trying to think of a way to build them into the bumper. Has anyone else ever done this?

Yea I am getting a hold of a used front end to practice on. As soon as it's done I'll post pics and see if it actually looks as good as it does in my head.

Re: Perminant Headlight Covers

Why dont you just super glue them to the headlights or you could get the tail light tint and use it on the headlights

It doesn't work like that. They never touch the headlights. I guess you think I am talking about an ls1 model.

Re: Perminant Headlight Covers

There was a company that used to make these for 3th Gens. It was just a black painted plastic panel that was hinged at the bottom. It opened and closed by a lever that poked though the bottom of the light bucket. The lever was attached to a rod that was attached to a window motor mounted to the center of the car on the hood latch brace. The switch was a typical window switch. When you push it closed the lever would move up and push the panel up over the lights. When you push it open the lever would move down and the panel would just fall open.
P.S. Oh and you could wire them to your light switch so when you turned the lights on they would open, etc.
